VerityVerity
What it's about
Struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh is offered the job of a lifetime: finishing the bestselling series of Verity Crawford, a famous author left unable to work after a car accident. Lowen moves into the Crawfords' home to go through Verity's notes, and finds an unfinished autobiography never meant to be read, a confession full of chilling admissions about Verity's family. As Lowen falls for Verity's grieving husband Jeremy, she has to decide what to believe.
Why it's worth reading
It's a dark, twisty, can't-put-it-down thriller that became a word-of-mouth sensation, and its ending has divided readers into passionate camps. Few books get discussed more after the last page.

Good to know
It's disturbing, with violence involving children and explicit sex. It's very different from Colleen Hoover's romances.
